The CELEST and CompNet Neuromorphics Lab and Neurala at the Boston Museum Of Science were jointly invited to participate at the event "Mars and Beyond" helo at the MOS on September 1, 2013.

In the event, visitors have the chance to explore cool science and technology relating to space exploration, with live presentations and activities.

The event included several scientists who design and work with space missions.

Max Versace gave a presentation titled "Smart robots in space", highlighting the joint work between the Lab, Neurala, and NASA Langley (see more details here).

Aisha Sohail from the lab, and Tim Seeman and Ethan Marsh from Neurala hosted hundred of visitors at the booth, where visitors had the chance to learn about neural modeling, robotics, and play with some robots.
