New Postdoc position in neural modeling of vision

By Max Versace | April 17, 2012

The Boston University Vision Lab and Neuromorphics Lab have an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The position is for two years, pending availability of funds after an annual project review.
The position involves mathematical and computational modeling of early visual process in primates, notably figure-ground segmentation through motion.
The successful candidates will have a PhD in computational neuroscience, computer vision, machine learning or a related field, with a strong background in computational modeling. Proficiency in programming (e.g. java, Scala, C/C++, C#, and/or Matlab) and in analytical methods are required.
Candidates should send a cover letter, CV, names and contact information for three references, and PDFs of representative publications, to Ennio Mingolla.
